This is the title of my current exhibition at the Spanish River Library in Boca Raton, Florida. What a lovely library! The upstairs gallery is a wonderful exhibit space. It was great fun for me to see my cat paintings hanging together in one area. My studio is in my home and isn’t large enough to hang much work so my paintings are scattered around the house.
The show has only been up for a little more than a week and I have sold a giclee and taken an order for another. New signups for my newsletter/email subscriber list, nice publicity and more website visitors. Definitely a successful show!
More paintings will be coming soon. Currently on my easel is a koi pond with boulders around and stepping stones into the pond. Besides the koi fish swimming around, guess what’s on the stepping stones? Cats, of course. It will take a while to finish and I don’t have a title yet so stay tuned. Also waiting in the wings (in my head) is a sequel to Mouse House. More about that later.
Hope you all enjoy the summer. I will be staying cool painting in the studio while the more adventurous ones will be melting outside.
If you are in South Florida check out the show.
